The Terran Viking Strategy

This unit comes from your Starport and has two different purposes and uses. Viking Pump It has a unique ability to switch and become either a ground or air unit. However, the general population of players opt to use them as an anti-aircraft.

They are also extremely quick and can damage enemy targets from long distances. If you know how to micro well, you will be able to inflict the maximum amount of damage on your enemies, while avoid a lot of damage.

The Terran Viking Build Order

To build a large army, start by building a Supply Depot at 9/11 supply, then at 12/19 construct your first Barrack. Once you reach 14/19 supply, build a Refinery to mine for vespene gas. Then at 15/19, produce a Factory. The next step at 16/19 supply is to make an Orbital Command then a Starport.

When you hit 17/19 supply, get your second Refinery, then at 18/19 build another Supply Depot and also go ahead and add a Reactor to the Starport that has just been completed.

Now, once you have completed this build order, start pumping out them out. Once you have two, pair them up with some Marines and head into enemy base to do some major damage! Remember to micro your Marines ahead to take most of the damage, while the Vikings stay behind and attack from a distance.

The Terran Viking Counter

All units in Starcraft 2 have a weakness. Some units that you want to definitely avoid are Marines, Mutalisks and Stalkers. Once you see that you enemy has begun a mass production of these units, quickly switch up your strategy and counter their counter.
